Shirley Cameron West, 80, of Claxton went
home to her Lord and Savior Thursday,
February 16, 2017, at her home.
Shirley was a devoted wife, mother and
grandmother. She retired from years of
nursing in 2012. She was an active member of
Evergreen Baptist Church. Shirley was loved
by everyone for her sweet, caring nature.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents,
George and Rubye Cameron, her husband of
59 years, Howard West, and their infant twin
sons, a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and
Curtis Gordon, and brother-in-law, J.T.
Creasey.
